From Chinese traditional music, drumming, Chinese dance, and martial arts to adult Chinese harmonica, free adult English, and Tai Chi classes at IVC, we offer a diverse range of programs that invite community members of all ages and backgrounds to experience Chinese culture, build connections through learning, and discover the beauty of cultural traditions through their interests.

2. Dance Class

Dance Class Registration Information

Chinese dance combines graceful movement, expressive hand gestures, musical rhythm, and the aesthetics of Chinese culture.

Through technique training, traditional poses, props such as fans, and choreography, students develop their dance skills while experiencing the unique beauty and artistic expression of Chinese dance.

3. Wushu Class

Wushu Class Registration Information

Wushu combines strength, coordination, balance, focus, and discipline, and are an important part of Chinese cultural heritage.

This year, we are also offering Youth Dragon & Lion Dance and Adult Swordsmanship programs, providing additional opportunities for students to perform on stage.

Through structured training, students develop physical skills while learning martial arts etiquette, discipline, and the spirit of traditional Chinese martial arts.

4. Adult Chinese Harmonica Class

Adult Chinese Harmonica Class Registration

Explore music through harmonica in a relaxed and engaging class while experiencing the beauty of Chinese music and culture.

Whether you are looking for a new hobby or an opportunity to connect with others through music, this class offers adults a fun way to learn, share, and enjoy music together.

5. IVC Free Adult English & Tai Chi Class

Registration is required through Irvine Valley College (IVC).

IVC adult programs provide opportunities for community members to learn, connect, and engage with others.

Alongside improving English communication skills, students can experience the traditional Chinese practice of Tai Chi, which combines gentle movements, breathing, balance, and focus to promote harmony of body and mind.
