Family Services has started a number of innovative initiatives to address the unique problems encountered by Chinese families in the difficult post-pandemic period, realizing the crucial relevance of mental health. Three series of activities will be launched by FSP to address various requirements, including parent-child interaction, homesickness, and problems with cultural adaptation: the Cultural Workshop Series, the Chinese Story Time Series, and the Cultural Exhibition Series.

In these series, participants gain knowledge of and hands-on experience with three concepts: the importance of happiness, mindfulness techniques for social and emotional growth, and coping strategies based on encouraging words. Giving Chinese Americans a venue to network, form friendships, and form supportive communities is another advantage of doing these workshops.

Cultural Workshop

The Cultural Workshop Series, a healing environment focusing on traditional Chinese holidays, aims to reduce stress and homesickness brought on by challenges with acculturation. You won't feel alone any longer by taking part in these courses, which will help you discover support in a welcoming group.
