Chinese Dance Company of Southern California (CDCSC) is co-founded by the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center (SCCCC) and Pan America Chinese Dance Alliance (PACDA) in 2019.

CDCSC’s Mission is to provide learning, communication, performance opportunities and platforms for dance lovers in Southern California.  The company aims to tell classic Chinese stories with well-known traditional dances, as well as encouraging and inspiring original choreographies to tell stories about American Chinese immigrants. 

Although CDCSC encountered the pandemic soon after it was formed, the members continued on training and learning new dances, and recorded a number of original dance works during the pandemic, including with “Under the Deep Sea” from “Monkey King” - an original music project composed and performed by the South Coast Chinese Orchestra. CDCSC was also invited to perform in many virtual events, such as the 2020 SCCCA Virtual Gala, Pacific Symphony Orchestra & South Coast Chinese Cultural Center’s Annual OC Lantern Festival, Grand Park of LA "Our LA Voices", and more. Their performances have been well-loved by all audiences!

Chinese Dance Company of Southern California (CDCSC) Auditions

CDCSC is also recruiting new members for the 2026–2027 season.

• 2:00–3:00 PM: New Member Auditions

• 3:00–5:00 PM: Annual Evaluation for Current Members

Eligibility (Ages 6+)

• Ages 6–11: Minimum 1 year of dance training.

• Ages 12 and above: Minimum 3 years of dance training.

CDCSC is a nonprofit performing company jointly established by SCCCA and PACDA. Company members participate in major cultural performances and community events throughout Southern California while receiving advanced dance training and valuable stage experience.

Current and prospective CDCSC members do not need to register for the regular D@S dance classes. A separate registration link for company members will be announced later.

All dance classes continue to use the TeamUp online registration and payment system.

Returning Students (Existing TeamUp Account)

Log in using your registered email address and password to access class registration and payment.

New Students

1. Create a TeamUp account using your preferred email address.
2. Select whether you are registering yourself or your child.
3. Complete the required personal information, waiver, and emergency contact information.
4. Once completed, you will automatically be directed to the payment page.

Important: If you qualify for Early Bird Discounts, Multi-Class Discounts, Scholarships, or Staff/Teacher Discounts, please email cp@sccca.org to obtain your discount code before completing payment. Discounts cannot be applied after payment has been processed.

南加中華舞團是南海岸中華中心聯手泛美中國舞蹈聯盟共同推出的非盈利舞團

舞團旨在提供學習，交流，演出的機會及平台給南加州的舞蹈愛好者，通過學習經典作品講述中華文化中的經典故事；鼓勵及激發原創作品講述美國華裔移民的故事。用豐富多彩的舞蹈傳承和弘揚中華文化。

舞團於2019年進行了公開甄選，雖然成團不久就遇到了疫情，舞團的團員們仍堅持訓練及學習新的舞目，並在疫情期間錄製出多個原創舞蹈作品，包括與南海岸中華樂團合作的原創音樂劇《美猴王》之《海底龍宮》片段等。並多次受邀參加演出，如2020南海岸中華文化中心2020雲端慈善晚會，太平洋交響樂團&南海岸中華文化中心年度橙縣元宵節，Grand Park of LA “Our LA Voices” 等，獲得了各族裔觀眾的關注及讚賞。

2026–2027 學年，南加中華舞團（CDCSC）也將同步展開新團員招募。
