2016 年海外巡迴演出
The Irvine Chinese Chorus (ICC) was inaugurated in 1989, as a non-profit organization, operating in conjunction with the South Coast Chinese Culture Association. For the past 30 years, ICC has represented harmony and music integrated into one’s daily life. This year we at ICC proudly present a membership of seventythree (73) under Conductor Sam Sun and pianist Sonia Lee.
The mission of ICC is to promote music as a means of invigorating one’s soul and spirit; and to provide a bridge between Chinese culture and American society. ICC’s June performance serves as our annual cultural contribution to the Orange County community programs. For the past few years, ICC has hosted Chinese Composition competitions. To showcase young performers from China and Taiwan, ICC has been hosting Chinese Composition Competitions over the past few years. Recently, ICC has performed in Taiwan at a Holiday Festival in 2011, and one in 2015 in China. These were joint performances with other local Orange County choruses, supported by the Irvine Chinese School.
In addition to music, ICC as a group has integrated a social gathering aspect to its activities : from music and charitable works for school kids, to activities for ICC members and their families. These activities include picnics, day trips, karaoke, Chinese New Year banquet, hiking and mountain-climbing.

2009 年於爾灣巴克萊戲院，華聲合唱團 20 週年 「歷程」慶祝音樂會
爾灣華聲合唱團（Irvine Chinese Chorus）成立於 1989 年秋天，由一群愛好唱歌的家長所成立的 一個非營利團体， 隸屬於南海岸中華文化協會 （SCCCA）。歷經羅菁楨，鄭煥璧，陳明義三位指揮， 奠定了華聲的合唱基礎。在現任指揮孫偉志及鋼琴伴 奏王淑女兩位老師的指導下，華聲更為茁壯，至今已 有團員七十餘人。
華聲合唱團的宗旨是以音樂調劑身心，以歌聲作 為傳播文化的橋樑，除了每年於五、六月公演外，也 積極參與社區活動。早年經常參與爾灣及 Newport Beach 老人中心的活動，邀請南加州其他合唱團共同 演出，主辦過四族裔聯合演唱會，為台灣音樂之父， 著名作曲家呂泉生先生舉辦音樂會，助陣 UCI 參加各 種活動，並多次在市議會演唱，更在爾灣前市長就職 典禮中應邀演唱國歌及數首歌曲，也曾舉辦中文合唱作曲比賽，以發掘及鼓勵音樂系的莘莘學子。又於 2011 年百年雙十國慶，組團和雅音合唱團回台合辦 「歡慶與感恩」音樂會，與台灣當地的合唱團互相交 流學習。2015 年更和爾灣中文學校聯合舉辦兒童中文 歌唱比賽，並多次為中文學校學生演唱中文歌曲，藉 以推廣中華文化。
2016 年適逢爾灣中文學校創校四十週年，在 Segerstrom Center for the Arts 舉辦 「飛越四十」音樂 會，華聲應邀參加了這場盛會，與有榮焉。無獨有偶 地，同年四月在孫老師的籌劃帶領下，華聲更遠赴廈 門及台灣，與海外多個合唱團串連演出，以歌會友， 相互觀摩及捐款給當地的學校；難得的經驗，實屬可 貴。自 2016 年至今連續四年的元宵節，都受邀在 Segerstrom Center for the Arts 演唱，與主流社會接軌， 除了傳承中國傳統，弘揚中華文化，並宣導多元性文化交流。 平時也經常舉辦登山、聚餐、旅遊和卡拉 OK 等 健身聯誼活動，為我們的海外生活帶來更多樂趣。竭 誠歡迎社會各界喜愛音樂的朋友們支持或參加華聲合 唱團。
2019 年是華聲合唱團的第三十年。自 1989 年成 立以來，歷經四位指揮的辛勤耕耘，華聲合唱團不斷 地成長與前進；團員們對音樂和歌唱的熱愛及無私的 付出，造就了一個讓生活充滿喜悦的團體。三十個春 秋，在歷史的長河中僅是轉眼瞬間；而在華聲合唱團 的旅程中卻是精采的一頁，洋溢着歡樂的氣氛與美好 的回憶。
2020 年的音樂會，因為疫情的關係，採用線上網 路音樂會來呈現。
