Seven Stars • One Glow

To expand how Chinese culture is told and passed on, the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center launched the inaugural issue of Amazing HuaYi in November 2025—uniting text, images, and audio as a cultural bridge between Chinese immigrants and the broader community.

In Issue 2, the magazine spotlights seven outstanding Chinese Americans in Southern California, including :

Different paths, shared values—diligence, resilience, integrity, responsibility, and service.

Quiet Grace • Bright Hearts

SCCCC CEO Yulan Chung said, “Culture is like gentle rain—quietly shaping daily life. Its most moving form isn’t only on the page or on stage, but in the small stories built through years of steady work.”

Amazing HuaYi tells those stories—through in-depth profiles that capture how Chinese Americans take root, give back, and let cultural resilience shine.

Chung added, “Culture isn’t just tradition preserved—it’s a choice, practiced again and again.” Starting with people, culture becomes not a distant symbol, but a light you can see—and feel.
