SCCCA executive director and Chinese school principal Yulan Chung joined other community leaders to be recognized by Irvine city council as the newest recipients of Wall of Recognition on June 14.
Director Chung said she is honored to accept this recognition on behalf of the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center and Irvine Chinese School. “This shows the City recognizes our contribution as Chinese Americans in the community.”
Other recipients include Mary Anne （FooOC Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance，Cyril Yu（Board of Education IUSD), Oliver Chi (Irvine City Manager), Mike Hamel (former Chief of Irvine Police), Marcy Brown (Hoag hospital) and council member Tammy Kim.
今年獲獎的其他人士還有橙縣亞太裔社區聯盟（OC Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance）執行主任傅瑪莉（Mary Anne Foo）、爾灣學區教委余凱澤(Cyril Yu)、爾灣市經理祁志豪(Oliver Chi)、爾灣市警局前局長Mike Hamel、霍格醫院資深副總裁Marcy Brown，及爾灣市議員金太美（Tammy Kim）。
