Celebrating the 10th Anniversary
Co-hosted by the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center and Pacific Symphony, the 2025 Lantern Festival marks its 10th anniversary with a spectacular lineup of cultural performances.
Highlights include Pacific Symphony’s musical presentations, dragon and lion dances, performances by South Coast Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Dance Company of Southern California, South Coast Wushu Team, and traditional music and dance from Vietnamese and Korean communities.
Guests can also enjoy interactive activities like lantern riddles, calligraphy, crafts, and a variety of delicious food options.
The Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall will be adorned with colorful lanterns and festive decorations, providing the perfect setting for selfies and family photos to commemorate the new year.
Argyros Plaza Outdoor Festivities
In addition to the indoor performances, community groups will bring outdoor entertainment and booths to Argyros Plaza.
The event will culminate with a grand dragon dance, where attendees can join a parade carrying handmade lanterns and walk alongside the dragon for a unique, up-close experience.
